The 2019 summer solstice weekend was upon us and that meant maximum daylight and a reasonable weekend of weather ahead. We had various rides on over the weekend where people took the opportunity to do something different. On Friday night the crazy Dirtbags met at 11.00pm to ride their annual off-road Summer Solstice Midnight ride.

Its been a busy week at NTR, this week has seen members head over to Europe for some hill climbing, others took on triathlons and then the sun came out for the Sunday Club Rides. First up, we had members travel over to the French Alps chasing the pros, Tenerife climbing Mount Teide and Germany

Just as we thought the summer has made an appearance, mother nature had other plans. Weather forecasters warned of heavy rain and wind was heading our way for Saturday and boy did it!  That didn’t put off some of the plans our brave members had made. Well, that was a busy weekend for the bees at NTR, we had many members taking part in all sorts of rides. We had a huge presence at the Doncaster Flat 100 Sportive with many positive comments from other riders about how polite NTR are. See, training rides improve leg strength and ride etiquette too.
