North Tyneside Riders have an active Juniors section, running coaching sessions every Saturday morning.

Off road

NTR has a growing group of off road riders taking part in weekly rides and CX racing.
Welcome to North Tyneside Riders, a cycling club for people of all fitness levels wanting to get out for bike rides around the area. With over 400 members from beginners, a juniors section and racing team there is something for every cyclist. We have club training rides on most days of the week and weekends, why not become a member and join us on a ride?
We are very inclusive, friendly club and proud of having a good mix of both male and female riders, young and not so young, strong riders and novices. Everyone is welcome!
We also have qualified British Cycling coaches and Sky Ride Leaders arranging a wide variety of training rides around the area ranging from 15 miles up to 100 miles plus at various speeds. See our weekly training schedule.

Sunderland Big Bike Ride 2018

For the past 3 out of 4 years, Alan Dale has taken part in this 35 mile off road and slightly lumpy ride. It starts and finishes at the St Peter's Campus of Sunderland University and heads out west and loops back around the city using mainly cycle routes and tracks....
